I was driving when it happened so I cannot say if there was any explosion or booms. Its course was parallel to mine but offset by maybe five miles but not much more. It was hard to tell with how high up it was.

About the last second I saw it, it flashed less than a handful of times as it went behind a cloud and lit up the edges of the cloud for about half a second.
