I thought it was firework at first but it was to dull and quite silent for firework and it stayed visable for way too long to be a firework. The glow had a glow comparable to that of burning magnesium though

Sort of an after glow behind the I assume, fireball. Faded away after about 2 seconds and the fireball was about 15-20 cm in diameter with the train becoming thinner and thinner till there was no train any more
