| Remarks | I went out on my balcony a few minutes before 8pm on 2/8/18, and the sky seemed to light up all of a sudden. The meteor was heading approximately south to north, so I didn't see it until it went over my condo building, at which time I realized that it was a meteor or space junk burning up in the atmosphere. It appeared really close, was very bight, and was huge. Not like those tiny shooting stars you see way, way, off. I haven't witnessed one of this size or brightness in well over 10 years. |
