Reports Report 200c (Event 200-2018)

Observer
Name Julie W
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks the sighting was in the middle of Sydney near the CBD on the Harbour. Light pollution was that I could just see Orion constellation (to the North of the fireball trajectory) and a few other bright stars. I could see the flight paths of planes arriving and departing to the west on a south to north trajectory. At first the light being so bright I thought it was a plane, except it was coming toward me so fast and was completely the wrong direction (west to east) for the planes at that time. There were loud roadworks close by so any chance of hearing a sonic boom were slim.

Remarks It seemed one bright light as it came toward me, then as it moved across my field of vision there were briefly two fragments travelling alongside the major one, these burnt out quickly and it ended with one again.
