Remarks I actually didn't see the fireball, however it was still dark outside (I was sipping my morning coffee in the dark contemplating the day ahead) and the fireball lit up the snow with a bright turquoise/blue-green color in a fantastic manner. I was facing south and the fireball seemed to light-up the snow in an east to west fashion lasting for 1 or 2 seconds. Had it been behind the house, the house would have cast a shadow which I did not see therefore I deduced it to be approximately overhead. I rushed outside but was not fast enough to see it disappear beyond the mountains. I did not hear any sounds but may have been too late.
