I was sitting on a chair in my living room and so the distance that I observed the fireball travel across the sky was limited to the 8' width of my window. From my vantage point it appeared to travel nearly horizontally across my field of view. I had the blinds closed on the window with the slats angled upward. I still had a fairly clear view of the fireball between the slats so I believe the angle above the horizon that I have entered is quite accurate.
