Remarks Train was long and glowing. fireball seemed to become very bright for a brief moment as if it encountered turbulence in the atmosphere and the train had a swollen section at that point. The rest of the journey was obscured by trees. the fireball appeared VERY close (less than 5 miles away)and at a shallow angle, (under 1000 feet in altitude) but no sound.
