Remarks | I was driving on the highway when I saw this. It was a clear, dark night, and the car in front of me saw it as well and slammed on his/her breaks. It seemed to be moving downward at a left angle until it disappeared behind trees which obstructed my line of vision, but it was absolutely moving from a higher to very low altitude, very quickly. When I first saw it it seemed pretty low, though it happened so fast (and I was driving 55 mph on highway) that I really didn't have much to compare it to. It was an INCREDIBLE sight. I've seen shooting stars many times, and it was nothing like that. This was very close, very large, and a distinct glowing green color. I immediately had to research when I got home, and found your website! I hope any other passing cars are doing the same as me! |
