Remarks | I enjoy watching meteor showers and looking for falling stars in areas without much light. On December 26, 2017 at about 5:51 pm, I was driving On US Rte 1 North. On the left horizon is where I noticed the bright object streaking through the low sky line. The color was so vivid (the green had a neon quality to it), at first I thought it was a firework. The ball was small and bright green; the tail was long, narrowing at the end, and was a bright orange. It moved very quickly and then was gone (3-5 seconds). It appeared to have a low arch as it traveled. I was on the phone with a friend and interrupted the call to tell her what i was seeing. One-in-a life time experience. Absolutely amazing. |
