Observation | No |
Remarks | As the object descended away from me it appeared to split into three pieces, a center piece and two pieces to the left and right of the center piece. At this point it momentarily disappeared. Then almost immediately the center piece reappeared and continued straight away from me until it eventually went out of sight. This whole episode lasted long enough for me to pull off to the side of the road (I was driving when I first saw the object) and watch for a long time. I had plenty of time to think about it and wish I had my camera with me. Seemed like at least 45 seconds or longer. The sky was overcast also, so I was seeing this thru the clouds. From where I was, I estimated it to be out over LA at first, then over the Pacific ocean. |
