Reports Report 5050a (Event 5050-2017)

Observer
Name Kim H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was bright and really distinct. Much larger - it seemed way closer - than a "shooting star" or the meteors we've seen during meteor showers. My husband and I both saw it from a moving car (40 mph). It appeared to be going straight down. It didn't leave a lasting streak, but it sure burned one in my retinas! We saw it for 2 to 3 seconds.
