Remarks I was outside the outhouse(we're not hill billies,my husband is building a house for a friend) and had brought my iphone to use the Star Walk app since the early mornings have been so clear and so I bookmarked the spot where I saw it- I was looking in the direction of Antila RA 10h 17m 31s DEC-35 degrees 27' 54" Azm +159 degrees 59' 58" Alt +3 degrees 16' 53" when I saw it-it was incredibly bright and fairly big, bigger than any meteor I had seen in the past-bigger than I remember Hale-Bopp when I saw it. I say it was approximately 0600pst by the time I came in after looking at a few constellations and looked at my watch it was 0608pst at first it was so bright and because of the colors, I thought it might be a flare but flares arc and this did not, it went straight and disappeared behind the hills. I can send you a picture of the sky I was looking at when I saw it. Very exciting! Cheers, Tina
