I was driving on the east on the interstate. The fireball was different than other meteors (and one other fireball in 2012) I have seen. It was first seen in my passenger side mirror! I thought a motorcycle was speeding past on the shoulder but when I turned my head I saw the fireball and train. The train nearly filled the passenger window but dropped below the tree line before I could tell my wife, "look at the meteor!" We searched the internet for similar sightings the next day and saw a Facebook post by Aleksei Deinekin who posted a dash cam from Dallas from about the same time. His image appears smaller than what I viewed.
