Remarks I was closing my balcony curtains (2nd floor) when i saw the fireball. Initially due to the colour i thought it was a firework, but when realising the trajectory and distinctive tail, I realised it was a fireball. The sky was clear at that point and it was clearly visible above the surrounding houses even through London's light pollution. After leaving a sizeable golden trail it brightened, then dimmed and finished in a what i guess was a terminal explosion. I then went straight out onto the balcony to look for more, and listen for any explosions, but saw and heard nothing further. This took place at about 30 seconds past midnight on Friday 24th/Sat 25th.
