Reports Report 4572ak (Event 4572-2017)

Observer
Name Miranda U
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks From my vantage point, the fire ball seemed to be as big as a full moon. I was a wake, in bed, trying to get back to sleep, when suddenly the room was filled with a blue light and then the fire ball appeared in the window. The illuminated room had the brightness of a flash of lightning, except the light grew with intensity, then faded. I sat up in bed to watch the fire ball disappear on the horizon line, East, into or beyond the Atlantic Ocean, (I live 1/2 mile from the Atlantic on the east coast, in Massachusetts, USA) towards Great Britain, I surmised. I waited to hear a boom or to see an explosion; there was just silence. It was a magical, fleeting, unexpected experience - a gift on Thanksgiving.
