It was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed to this day. I've seen plenty of shooting stars epically when I lived in Hawaii but nothing as close and bright as that! It was stunning!

Driving home from hospital a "shooting star" but very close! Maybe 25 miles away? As bright as the sun and large but no where near as big as the sun or moon. My father saw it too!
