Observer
Name Leonard A
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I first noticed the bright blue - white flash that li up the western sky around my vehicle out of drivers side window while heading N. on Rt. 522 in Morgan County West Virginia, the flash lasted about 3 seconds, than I noticed the meteor fireball and train coming from the SW to the NE. The train was mostly bright white, and had orange and yellow flashes coming off of it as it moved across the sky from my vantage point. I saw the meteor\\fireball for about 4 seconds before it disappeared out of my site in what seemed to be below the ridgeline of Caccapon mountain to the W of Rt 522, but I am sure was really quite distant from my actual position.
