Remarks | I am submitting this report on behalf of my mom. I am an experienced observer however I was inside the house at the time of the fireball. My mom has much experience observing aurora however was not aware that fireballs are reportable.The time of the event is an approximation based on my mom's recollection. My mom reports that she saw a white fireball with no trail descend from greater than 45 degrees above the horizon, to below the horizon. The fireball descended straight down relative to this observing location, direction is approximately 100-110 degrees. from this location. |
