Remarks This was a beautiful meteor - we were stopped at a red light and it looked like it fell from the sky in the 11 oclock position. My buddy and I both exclaimed "Look!!" because it was so bright and it was blueish in color. I have seen meteors before and watch the Perseids and other showers so I know what to look for. This was the biggest and brightest I have seen. I live in a well lit suburban neighborhood where we dont usually see the small ones or most of the calendar showers - this one was huge and was no joke. I see others have logged this sighting and that makes me feel great because I cant believe anyone outside could have missed this. This was once in a lifetime sighting. Thank you for this site.
