| Remarks | My wife and I were out for a walk when we saw this stunning event. The object was quite bright in the night sky, seemingly close, and reminded me of a space shuttle re-entry mishap. We speculated that it might have been a premature falling to earth of some of the satellite debris which is reportedly on its way. Immediately after its demise, my wife noted that her cell phone registered 8:10 p.m. |

| Remarks | The \"fireball\" had a bright white tail, which if I remember correctly, disappeared when the object reached its visible end. When that occurred, there was some sense of explosion (perhaps a terminal flash) and dark fragments moving rapidly away from its center. |
