If this was satellite debris (I have never seen an emerald green meteor before so I assume this was a man-made material) it appeared to be heading for western Oregon and likely would have landed in the ocean (based on my distance to the coast =25 miles) Glad whatever it was missed us. Hope you get substantiating reports.

Remarks
I noticed a green ball falling at a relatively steep angle. The train behind appeared to to point to the Northeast and went toward the southwest. The fireball went out but left the trail for a few seconds. The trail continued to glow after the fireball went out. I wonder if this was satellite debris?
Terminal flash
Observation
Yes
Remarks
Before it would have disapeared behind mountains to the Southwest it appeared to flash and then disappeared. The trail lasted a few moments longer.
