Reports Report 1015ai (Event 1015-2011)

Observer
Name Curtis S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This appeared to be really close to where myself and my friend were watching from. It appeared to come in just over the Tucson mountains to the nw of us and I thought it was a plane coming in at first. Then we thought maybe it was a missile or fireworks as it lit up the sky and went through a small cloud. At one point I thought it was going to hit somewhere near where we were sitting but it was to the nw of us very low and it fragmented before hitting the ground but not very high up. That is the closest I can ever remember to being to one of these fireballs!
