The color was remarkable. I've never seen a meteor like it. It was at such a low perceived altitude and moving more parallel than perpendicular to the ground. Unfortunately, I was in a car on hilly terrain or I feel I could have observed the fireball for a bit longer as it may have dropped below the treeline.
