Remarks This is what I wrote after seeing it. I think that I just saw a meteor in the eastern sky over Westchester NY. I was driving south on route 9A at aound 3 pm when I saw a streak of light that looked like a shooting star. The streak was silver and at the center it was emerald green. It was there for at most 1 to 2 seconds.
