| Remarks | I first noticed a very bright flash, and noticed what appeared to be a shooting star in the sky. However, it was mid afternoon, in full daylight. After a moment, it went away. It then reappeared as a black burning object falling to earth trailing yellow flame. I could not tell whether it went out by the time it got down to the tree line. If it did not completely burn up in the atmosphere, it would have made landfall in the Cuyuna area. |
