Reports Report 918r (Event 918-2011)

Observer
Name Barbara M
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It actually looked like it was burning. It did not have a "tail", but it looked as if there were flames trailing a bit in the opposite direction of travel. It seemed fairly large -- much larger and brighter than a shooting star. The buildings downtown blocked my view of it hitting the horizon. I have not seen this type of thing before. Thought it was maybe a meteor or some kind of equipment falling from orbit and burning -- just a guess.
