Remarks | When I first saw the fireball, the tail was white. As it fell, the color turned to a dark red-orange. From my position, the fireball disappeared behind the Rocky Mountains. The fireball appears very bright, surprising since our area is experiencing massive wildfires which are putting quite a bit of smoke into the atmosphere. |
