Reports Report 3047p (Event 3047-2017)

Observer
Name Donald M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It looked like a ball of fire with a streak behind it. It went out of my field of view so I didn't see how it terminated. If I were to hold a ruler at arms length to measure it, the tail was about 4 inches long and the fireball itself was eliptical about 0.5 inch long and 0.25 inch wide. The tail was just yellow tapering light but the head was the color of fire (changing). It looked like a low altitude object travelling at high velocity.
