Reports Report 2949g (Event 2949-2017)

Observer
Name Kerry Matt M
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks There were high mottled clouds but the meteor was bright enough to see through the coverage...so I assume my guesstimated -6 was muted by the cloud ceiling...also fragmenting and trail was presumably visibly corrupted by cloud cover which I would have liked to have observed. So for the most part it was glowing through cloud but the color was a bright green without doubt.I thought space junk! lol.(burning barium lol).At first glance it entered behind a tree just after noticing slightly north of zenith but I was able to shift to the other side of the street continuing observation,,,which took about 1 or 2 seconds,,ending about 15+- deg above horizon perhaps 20+- deg north of west
