Remarks | We lost sight of the fireball for a couple of seconds as it zoomed across the horizon. The explosion happened a second or two after we lost sight of it due to trees in our way. It was very close to earth at the time and we actually thought at first that it had hit the earth because it was that low. We still aren't sure if it just exploded in the air or actually hit the ground, but we did not feel any impact or hear anything. Our car windows were rolled up and the radio was on, so no sound was heard. |
