Remarks I tried to hold still for some time to hear ANY sound, but traffic and air traffic interfered with my observation.

Remarks thin white line... expanded as ball became larger and multiple pieces (each green and/or blue), and became more yellow

Remarks appeared as almost flash lightning on the horizon...yellow in color....very little cloud cover to the north but some thunderstorm activity to the Northeast of location that I thought may have been the cause of the flash...The flash was obstructed by the neighborhood trees, but I did see the fragmentation all the way down. The flash was AT LEAST 50 degrees wide on the horizon.
