| Remarks | Originally observed over Brandon, SD. approximately 1.5 hours prior. A verticle line roughly at a 90 degree angle. Zeke is the one who spotted it. (i'm his mother) We lost sight of it. Then while on 81 heading toward Yankton, SD he noticed a bright light it may have lasted a bit longer than 10 seconds. We were between mile marker 398/397 by the Gayville/Volin exit. It seemed to be travelling very close to us. If it weren't dark we would have tried to locate it. Very beautiful and we've never seen one before. So here we are traveling & we get between mile marker 398/397 on 81 by the Gayville/Volin exit and Zeke says "look at that!" there is this flash of light with a tail heading down to earth we could have probably walked to it if we had a flash light. |
