Reports Report 2925jx (Event 2925-2017)

Observer
Name Xenia B
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I initially thought it was a shooting star (but much brighter, wider and lower than I had ever seen, and against a cloudy sky), then an airplane because of the duration, brightness, almost horizontal trajectory and brief flashes of color (it mostly appeared white). It simply disappeared after 15-20 (?) seconds. I posted this on my local community Facebook post and a number of other people in the Western Loudoun area reported seeing it. My time of 9:15pm is approximate.
