Remarks | Most of the sighting was obscured by trees very close to me. I was seeing the meteor through gaps in the trees. However, I must have seen it for up to 5 seconds as I said 'wow' out loud at least three times. The head was bright and it had a trail but I don't know if this persisted because of the trees. It was heading down towards the horizon. I was particularly excited because I quickly realised it was not a Perseid. I had only gone outside to release a hornet from the house, and it caught my eye! |
