Remarks | Six of us saw what I initially thought was a shooting star, but realized it was too close. I thought it might be a drone on fire on trajectory to land in the river in front of us. But then it disappeared behind the mountains, so it was much larger and further away than it appeared. We just happened to be sitting with Astronaut Rusty Schweickart's son who told it was a meteor. |
