| Remarks | We were driving through the North Georgia Mountains and hit a clearing where I initially saw the fireball. It lasted 2-3 seconds, with what seemed to be fragmentation, based on the pattern and duration of the burn. It was very bright white and was heading down quickly when we hit a patch of trees and lost it. It was still very bright when I lost line of sight. |

| Remarks | It was in my field of vision for 1 second when there was a trail of many small red pieces that seemed to burn up quickly. |
