Reports Report 2240ae (Event 2240-2017)

Observer
Name Tate D
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks We were driving through the North Georgia Mountains and hit a clearing where I initially saw the fireball. It lasted 2-3 seconds, with what seemed to be fragmentation, based on the pattern and duration of the burn. It was very bright white and was heading down quickly when we hit a patch of trees and lost it. It was still very bright when I lost line of sight.
