Reports Report 2174m (Event 2174-2017)

Observer
Name Debra M
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I've seen several fireballs over SE Texas during the past 7-8 years. My first experience was early morning when it was still dark and it sounded and flashed like thunder outside my office building. I was facing the window at the time and found it curious that there were no clouds. I found out later that it was a fireball entering the atmosphere. I think it is remarkable to witness something that is larger than a simple "shooting star" The one tonight had no pronounced tail. Just a yellow sphere, with a green shadow near the rear of it. I hope someone else saw it too.
