Remarks 7 people were together looking at the dark sky and observing a large quantity of lightening bugs in a very rural area. Suddenly there was a bright flash and there was a 1 to 2 second trail of orange light in an easterly direction. All 7 of us saw the bright flash and saw the trail. It seemed like someone flipped on a light in a dark room. It only lasted about 2 seconds.
