Remarks | I'm a military service member and have been around aircrafts. I have seen how flares look like and am familiar with the rate of speed. This object was as bright as a flare, green in color and I was extremely close to the impact path. It was so close, I had to hit the brakes out of fear that it would hit in front of me and I braced for impact in case there was a blast or any type of reaction or shockwave. I looked out of my window and did not see any following objects or aircrafts. It was clear as daylight, no clouds in sight. This sighting was extremely out of the ordinary. The green glow leads me to believe that whatever was burning up had to be something containing metallic material. |
