Remarks The left end was more fragmented than the right end, where the ball of fire was located. It just seemed to disappear once the ball of flame broke apart. This is the third or forth night I have seen these, however the others were not as close, nor as bright and distinct. This is by far the closest I have seen a meteor and remember thinking, \"holy cow, is this thing going to hit the ground?\"
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks I herd no sounds, just saw a white and orange flame shoot slowly across the sky looking like it could hit the ground. It did not because it eventually broke apart with a small flash at the last instant. What was left of the tail just kind of fell until the light became invisible. This is the third or forth night I have seen meteors, the others were further away and smaller. This was so close I felt like I could almost touch it.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
