At first I thought it was a small airplane landing/taking off from the nearby Falcon field airport because of the bright light, but then I realized that there was no engine noise and that the object was in a falling (kind of curving into the horizon) trayectory and I could notice a trail and fragments coming off of it and I realized it was a meteor. I couldn't see how low it went since buildings and trees blocked my view after the initial seconds.
