Remarks | I walked out of my garage to get something out of my car, at approximately 11:00 pm. Facing west as I walk out of my garage, I caught sight of the meteor at about 65 or so degrees from horizontal. It moved from top left to bottom right, with respect to my vision and the direction I was looking. It was BY FAR the most intense fireball?meteor I have ever seen, and I have taken note to watch several different meteor showers. The size and magnitude of the light and train were far more than I thought I would ever see. Certainly an exhilarating experience that made me want to watch the sky all night to try and see more. I was very surprised that I heard nothing of this on the news and such, given the intensity of the object. |
