Reports Report 1882pn (Event 1882-2016)

Observer
Name Bert S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks On the night of the event, I discounted it as being an isolated lightning strike, but thought it odd it was a single flash and that there was no thunder. The next day I spotted reports that a fireball just before 4am had occurred, and I realized that it made more sense that I had seen a fireball out of one of the north-facing windows of my house. I cannot be sure at all of the initial az./alt. nor the final az./alt., but your reporting website did not appear to offer a “I don’t know” response, so I had to guess at what I recall seeing (a small left to right motion). But really, “I don’t know” would have been a more accurate response on these two parameters. My first reported meteor!! No doubt more to come…
