Remarks | I was driving when I saw the meteor so I can't be certain of the exact location and it was dark out so depth perception is difficult, however I'm pretty sure it was within about 1/2 a mile to the South of the 78 freeway and very low in the sky, so I believe it most likely touched down within San Marcos, contrary to the report I read on the news article I saw about the event which indicated it likely touched down off the coast. |
