Reports Report 1298fu (Event 1298-2017)

Name Michael B
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I was facing west initially, when everything lit up. I thought it was the searchlight from the Police helicopter at first, but then realized there was no sound so it was not present. In a split second it turned toward the south and saw it. So I did not actually see it's beginning. But it was so big and bright it was almost frightening. My heart rate increased for sure. My son called minutes later and asked if I saw it, he seemed excited and maybe even a little scared. Biggest, brightest one I've ever seen!
