I am 68 and have never observed a meteor event so dramatic and clear. This was not a "shooting star" crossing the heavens

Saw streak at about 20 degrees from vertical evolving to a large fireball which then seemed to explode with particles and then go out. Largest meteor fireball I have ever seen.
