Remarks -
Delayed Sound
Observation No
Remarks No, I saw what looked like a sonic cone form, so I listened for a sonic boom to follow, but heard nothing. But I was on the phone at the time, so I would not have heard any faint observable noise. I should have hung up in order to listen.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 1.5s
Length 10°
Remarks The trail was the same color as the object as it changed colors. Orange at first, then greenish, and purple at the front end, and fading to orange at the tail end. I could clearly see the the end of the tail dispersing, like after a fireworks explosion. The tail did not linger long after I lost sight of the object in the tree line.
Terminal flash
Observation No
Remarks I did not see a terminal flash, although the object was getting brighter, and I assume it may have ended this way after I lost sight of it. The only flash I saw was a bright orange flash, what resembled a sonic cone that forms around a fighter jet exceeding Mach 1, and then the object turned green then, purple then white. The object remained intact while in view, but I could clearly see the the end of the tail dispersing, like burning debris after a fireworks explosion.
Fragmentation
Observation Unknown
