Remarks | Looked up toward the north while walking down the street, saw a very bright fireball with train, much bigger than a star, headed down beneath the tree line. It seemed very large and very close, much closer and brighter than any other meteorite I have seen. It was bright as it headed into the tree line, and only became obscured by the trees not by burning out. It seemed like it might have made contact with the ground a few miles ahead. |
