Remarks The sky is extremely clear tonight. We were outside looking at Venus and observing the stars. I turned towards the SE and a ball appeared and then moved very quickly leaving a tail. It seemed to have a U shaped glow around the front of the head. It was over very quickly!

Remarks I may be imagining but when the tail flashed, I thought I heard crackling. It was very quick. Saw the ball, then the tail/heard crackling.
