| Remarks | I was a pilot on a military aircraft going from Charleston, SC to Gulfport, MS. We were at 32,000 feet when we observed a bright object in the sky that I first thought was a flare as it looked very similar. It started out as a bright white object and transitioned to red as it burned out. The angular views of the object are as we saw it from the cockpit, not from the ground so that may throw off some of the calculations. |
